1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what data Multi-Box collects, why it collects it, and how it is stored and protected. Multi-Box is a Discord moderation and server management bot. We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide its features.

2. Data We Collect

Multi-Box stores what it needs to do its job and nothing more:

• Server and user IDs to know which server and which members moderation actions apply to.
• Moderation history including who was banned, kicked, or timed out, by whom, and why.
• Your server's settings such as automod rules, channel configurations, and any sticky messages you have set up.
• Ban pool data if your server participates in a shared ban pool.
• Message content is only ever read in the moment to check against automod filters or to process a command. It is never saved.

3. Data We Do Not Collect

• We do not read or store message content outside of active command invocations or automod filter checks.
• We do not collect email addresses, IP addresses, or any payment information.
• We do not track user behaviour across servers beyond what is explicitly logged by a moderation action.
• We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties for any purpose.

4. How We Use Your Data

Collected data is used solely to:

• Execute and log moderation actions (bans, kicks, timeouts, purges).
• Propagate bans across servers in a shared ban pool.
• Apply and enforce per-server and per-channel configuration (automod, filters, restrictions, locks).
• Post event logs and moderation logs to your configured Discord channels via webhook.
• Assign activity-based roles to members.

5. Data Retention

Data is retained for as long as Multi-Box remains in your server. When the bot is removed from a server, all data associated with that server is deleted immediately and permanently, including configuration, moderation logs, ban pool membership, and webhook credentials.

6. Your Rights and Data Deletion

Data associated with a server is deleted when the bot is removed from that server. Data associated with a user is removed when their server leaves the bot's records through the same process.

We are unable to fulfill individual requests to delete specific moderation records. Moderation logs exist to preserve an accurate history of actions taken within a server. Removing entries on request would undermine the integrity of that record and interfere with the bot's normal operation. If you believe data about you has been recorded in error, please raise it with the administrators of the relevant server.

7. Third-Party Services

Multi-Box operates entirely within Discord's platform and does not send your data to any third-party services beyond Discord itself. Discord's own Privacy Policy governs data held by Discord.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the bot after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
